ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
i) Candidates for admission into the four-year B.Ed. (Adult Education and Community Development) must possess either:
a) The Senior Secondary school in any five subjects including English in not more than two sittings plus an approved minimum pass score in the University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or
b) Teacher Grade II Certificate with pass in five subjects including English in not more than two sittings plus an approved minimum pass score in the UTME or
c) A pass at merit level in any BUK Diploma programme with CGPA of 2.75 or its equivalent plus a minimum of five credits at the O’ Level including English Language.
d) An Advanced Diploma from Bayero University, Kano or other recognized institutions with Credit/Merit including English Language.
ii) Candidates for admission into three years B.Ed. (Adult Education and community Development) Programme must possess either:
a) A pass at credit level of Bayero University Diploma in Education Management, Library Science, Social Policy, Arabic, and Public Administration plus a minimum of five credits at O’ level including English Language, or
b) The Nigerian certificate in Education (NCE) from a recognized institution plus a minimum of 5 credit at school certificate level including English language or
c) A Diploma in Community Development and adult Education, Social Administration, cooperative, agriculture, local government studies, public Administration Youth work, and related field from recognized institutions with pass at Credit level plus a minimum of 5 credits at the school certificate level, including English Language.
d) An advanced Diploma in Educational Management from Bayero University, Kano with Credit/merit.
